Technical Support Engineer

The position

Job overall purpose

  • As a Technical Support Engineer your main task will be to support mainly the Danish – but also the Scandinavian (DK/SE/NO) customers and to support the sales organization with technical and logistic issues

Key areas of responsibility

  • Customer support on the entire portfolio sold in DK/SE/NO regarding HW, SW and Services
  • Customer support from highlevel technical insight to more general support topics
  • To be the customers internal ambassador
  • Technical understanding of the DSO´s (Forsyningsselskaberne) valuechain and the connection between SW (IT), Service solutions and HW electricity Meters.

Key tasks

  • Responsible for the order process from A-Z (from configuration of the order to final delivery)
  • Active in presales
  • Keep-up-to-date on orderhandling like forecasts, prices, units etc.
  • Follow-up on logistics and delivery
  • Maintain good progress and follow-up on customer activities like assigned Service Now tickets, CRM updates etc.
  • Participate in online customer meetings – occasionally onsite

Profile

Critical experience

  • Experience and insights from the Energy Industry - DSO related
  • Production, and logistic understanding
  • Years of experience with customer support
  • Experience in working in a complex international environment

Skills

  • Skilled in electrotechnical theory – Grid understanding.
  • Microsoft Office – high level
  • Danish as native language
  • Technical English at a high level – due to the corporate language. Both written and spoken
  • Understanding of the Scandinavian languages (SE/NO)

Your role

You will be joining the team as a Technical Support Engineer in a smaller matrix organization in Denmark. Your main focus area will be to support the Scandinavian (DK/SE/NO) customers and the sales organization at technical, support and logistic issues.

It is expected that you can support the clients solving their challenges based on your experience as a Technical Support Engineer.

In this position you will refer to the Nordic Country Manager (DK/NO/SE/ISL).
