VP - Product Business Unit

The position

Job overall purpose:

• This is a senior executive role with independent P&L accountability, reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a member of the GomSpace Executive Team

Your mission:

You will drive the smooth operation and ambitious growth of our Product Business Unit, ensuring strategic execution that enables GomSpace to deliver best-in-class space technology to customers worldwide. Through a mix of organic growth, partnerships, and potential M&A opportunities, you will scale the unit with a clear ambition: to grow revenue from today’s ~100 MSEK to 500 MSEK within four years.

What you will do:

• Lead and inspire ~90 colleagues across Aalborg and Luxembourg, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation

• Own the Product BU strategy, aligning portfolio development, customer focus, and operational excellence with GomSpace’s long-term vision

• Secure seamless day-to-day operations while preparing the business for significant scaling

• Develop and expand the product portfolio through in-house innovation and partnerships

• Play an active role in potential acquisitions and integrations to strengthen capabilities and market reach

• Partner closely with other Business Units and functions to ensure a unified GomSpace customer experience

• Represent GomSpace and the Product BU externally with customers, partners, and investors

Qualifications

Critical experience:

• Experienced executive leadership in a high-tech or aerospace/space industry environment

• Demonstrated success in growing businesses through both organic and in- organic (M&A) strategies

• Strong experience with P&L accountability and scaling organizations internationally

Skills:

• A leader who balances strategic vision with operational discipline

• Ability to inspire teams across cultures and geographies while creating clarity

and focus

• Willingness to relocate to Aalborg, Denmark (relocation package provided)

• Active or eligible for security clearance

Education:

• Relevant degree in Engineering (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
