Our Mobility platform facilitate simple and rapid implementations for new customers and are configurable and scalable in order to keep pace with the evolution of customer needs. Unwire is comprised of multiple different nationalities with solid experience and expert knowledge, working together with our customers from laying out the commercial, business and technical landscape to delivering prototypes, co-designing, building, and hosting mobility solutions.

We are seeking a senior iOS developer to join our highly experienced mobility team where you will have opportunities to build world class features into our award winning mobility app. We are passionate about our mobility platform and how we can help transit agencies make shared transportation more attractive. We are seeking someone who is equally as passionate and who would like to develop their knowledge and their skills together with us.

You will be joining an existing iOS team in which you can grow your knowledge in a supportive environment and where you will be making a direct contribution from day one. The position requires you to be self-driven and you will contribute to the technical design and approaches as well as the continuous maintenance of the application.

Job overall Purpose

Write solid, testable and maintainable code

Key areas of responsibility and tasks

  • Write solid, testable and maintainable code
  • Document and unit test your code to deliver high quality
  • Take responsibility for development and delivery of individual features or projects
  • Collaborate with designers and product owners to implement great UX solutions
  • Take part in developing and ensuring best practices across our team
  • Maintain high quality from implementation to end user experience

Criteria of Success

  • To deliver high quality on time


Critical experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing native iOS applications.
  • You are developing clean, elegant, well-commented and reusable code
  • Excellent knowledge of Swift and expertise with Xcode, XCTest, debugging and code signing.
  • Good understanding of best practices in testing and test frameworks, design patterns and layered architectures available for iOS projects
  • Experience with Networking, specifically using REST APIs from mobile
  • Experience with version control tools and knowledge of automated build systems
  • Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments
  • You have excellent English language skills both orally and in writing

And maybe you have (not optional)

  • Familiarity with new technologies such as Async/Await, Combine, SwiftUI, etc.
  • Experience with cloud CI/CD solutions.
  • Experience with Android/Backend app development (Java/ Kotlin)
